While watching some of my backlog of Once Upon a Time and then Flushed Away sans kids. 

Haircuts

I had to drop everything and give hubby his haircut.

Next!

Hubbie played Quantum Conundrum again and his language deteriorated the longer he played it... it's getting difficult.
I, on the other hand, finished the snowflake and have moved on to the next one.

Once Upon A Time

I watched way too many episodes and was saved by my Handsome Prince wanting to play Quantum Conundrum (awesome, by the way).

Fe Fi Fiddily

Tricky stuff now. Stars with metallic thread.  Hubbie was channel flicking. Settled on a hippy simpsons. blah.

Speed of Life

I think I've finished the cross stitching on this one. Next bit is the fiddly stuff; ribbon, beads and metallic thread.
Watched "Speed of Life" which was pretty cool except for the overly dramatic music.

At this rate

I might be finished for Christmas 2013.

ergh, boy germs

Hubbie has a cold. I feel doomed.  Watched Big Bang Theory.   The one where Penny takes a "stand".  I do enjoy them.

Sick kids suck

Eldest had a fever for 5 days and then had an earache for one day (yay for not turning into something worse) and he's sneezing and coughing and snotty and germy and I really really really really don't want youngest or myself to catch it... or hubbie, but he has less chance coz he gets to go out of the house.  My hands have cracked from all the handwashing.
Decided that even though I'm tired and grumpy I needed to do something just for me so here is tonight's progress whilst watching Once Upon A Time.  It's very convoluted and I hope they don't screw me over like Lost did.

Stormy Weather

Set the alarm tonight so I can go to bed at a decent hour hence the unfinished thread.  Hopefully we'll get some sleep since it's supposed to be really stormy tonight.

Channel Flicking

So many channels and nothing on. Finally settled on a NCIS repeat of flashbacks, blah!

Here we go

7 pounds is not a good movie to watch whilst stitching. There's too many visual clues that I missed. And where does that pound of flesh saying come from anyway, and I can't remember what it is exactly either.

Where we're at

Since I intend to continue on with the Christmas Ornaments I figured I should let you see where I'm up to. There's 6 ornaments that when finished are mounted on a cardboard shape with felt backing and a ribbon loop to hang it on the tree. They're quite large for a tree ornament, 15cm or so. I've stitched and beaded and gold ribboned 4 of the 6 and am currently stitching the 5th. I'm planning to do the mounting all at the same time. Or at least one after the other :P so that hopefully they'll look similar.

Where the heck have you been?

So I think I over did it with the rush to get the bookmarks finished for the sale. Then I got sick. I still am actually. And then I stay up late watching a movie and finishing off the last bookmark. Idiot.
FINE! I'll upload the photo tomorrow. I am being commanded to bed. I wish it didn't take so long to upload the photos.

So this one is all done and going to a friend. Next... I supposed I should try and get the ornaments finished for this Christmas :D

Back to it

Had a little holiday from my mad dash to get them all ready for the stall. Watched Bones & Castle, didn't want to eat crap so got it out.

I've decided to stop watching the Voice. All the hullaballo outside of the singing is boring me. I'm not interested in what Sally and Tom thought and cared to share with the world on facebook or twitter.

Continuing on

Took a few nights off after the mamoth effort. I'll be giving this one to a friend from school who saw the other ones and wanted it. She said she'd pay me. I said forget about it.

And I think I'm going to run out of Light Red. I'll check my stash before I run out completely and if I don't have anything close I'll go shopping.

Oh No!

I don't think I'm going to make it! I'll take it to playgroup tomorrow morning and do some after lunch and hopefully it'll get done so I can hand it in to the office in the afternoon. Fingers Crossed.

Job's Done! Small Wallet

Finished! This has got to be a record for me, I made the two wallets today. The brown floral type pattern one got a bit wonky but I think they look nice and the boys like them. I haven't put the monograms on because, quite frankly, I don't feel like it.
