Just a liitle bit
I like stitching. I do. I just sometimes find it easier to play computers. So this is going to document my progress on my various projects.

Tapestry
Getting back into it, mostly because I wanted to do some thing but the table was unavailable.
Trying a couple of angles to show what I've done.

Hiatus over
There has been a long period of time during which I have felt completely uninspired. Tonight I decided that I should quit thinking how hard it is to get all the stuff out and just get it out. So I did. It wasn't that hard.
I did a little bit of the green of the sea. You can see the light green thread hanging from when bedtime was called.

Eurovision! SBS style.
I taped the semi-finals and have been stitching away while watching the glorious thing that is Eurovision with the witty repartee of Julia and Sam.
My plan to do one colour at a time didn't work out for these skinny bits I'm doing down the bottom...

After this, I have a plan
So this gigantic humongous tapestry that I got because Hubby thought it would be nice to have something like that on the wall (note to self: never let him choose my projects again) I've decided that I'm going to tackle a different colour each session. That way I might actually feel like I'm making progress. It never looks like much when I compare photos.

The big one
Put a bit of time into the big project today. Kids were kidnapped by Grandmother so had some uninterrupted time.

Shudder!
Found a snake skin in the backyard today. It belongs to a small young one, but the mystery of whether it's venemous or not, still around or not... gah! Gives me the heebie jeebies!
Did some more of the seaview tonight whilst watching the box. The two shades of yellow on the rocks are Fun!

Dozy Walking
Watching bits and pieces on the box. Saw most of NCIS except the second time eldest came wandering out Hubbie came out of seclusion and switched off the telly as he thought eldest was watching it so I missed the end of a very confusing episode. Nevermind. I'll google it.
I was going to add a close up picture of the sea that is giving my grief but it's taking too long to upload so I'll merely bring your attention to the lower right and say "That!".

Day 2 of this little burst
Mr Mr is on a TV burst so while he watched Homeland I listened to it and stitched some more tapestry.
One of these days I'm going to work out how to do a slideshow or something to show the progress.

Instead of games...
Hubbie handed me a pair of earphones so I could play my game while he watched Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and I thought, no. I'll do some tapestry and so I did:
He is now hinting very strongly that I should come to bed as it is late and we over did it last night already.

Happy Australia Day!
This is the seaview tapestry. Made in France so I have no idea what it's called really. I got it with a voucher from my sisters for a birthday a few years ago. I've got it on the frame sideways as it's a 125cm wide by 60cm high.
Tapestries are not my favourite. They're open to interpretation and it forces me to think creatively. Would it look better with one more pixel of green or brown? Argh!
I remember taking a picture of it all opened out before i put it on the frame but I can't find it at the moment. When I do I'll add it in here somewhere.
For now:
